• Do you have efficient operating procedures (quoting, order taking, materials planning, process and product definition, production planning, inventory management, receiving, shipping, etc.) in place?
• Has someone in your company successfully implemented a Manufacturing Resource Planning system before – preferably several people, several times?
• Do you have experienced personnel available to focus on reviewing current processes, mapping those processes to a new system, and making specific recommendations on how to implement the new system?
• Do you have someone in your company that can act as the project manager, to establish a plan, keep everyone focused on the project tasks and goals, and work with management to resolve conflicts effectively?
• Do you have a technical resource that is experienced in Microsoft Access and setting up a client server database?
